Relic has officially released the minimum and required system requirements for Dawn of War 2! They have also made the mention to the "upcoming" beta, so keep your eyes and ears open.
Minimum Requirements –
* Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista SP1 * P4 3.2 GHz (single core) or any Dual Core processor * 1 GB RAM (XP), 1.5 GB RAM (Vista) * A 128MB Video Card (Shader Model 3) - Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT / ATI X1600, or equivalent * 5.5 GB of Hard Drive space
Recommended –
* Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista SP1 * AMD Athlon 64x2 4400+ or any Intel Core 2 Duo * 2 GB RAM (XP and Vista) * A 256MB Video Card (Shader Model 3) - Nvidia GeForce 7800 GT / ATI X1900, or equivalent * 5.5 GB of Hard Drive space

The folks over at Relic are working hard this holiday season polishing up the game and making sure...... that they know who is the dominant DoW 2 player. Yes, that's right.. there was an in-house tournament held and the victor was Sean Walsh as Eldar. The bracket looks pretty well spread, Space Marines beating Orks, Orks beating Space Marines.. Eldar beating .. everyone. We here at Sinful Gaming also want to wish everyone a Happy Holidays and a safe new year. This year's resolution, dominate everyone that stands before me with the mighty Space Marine army (hey, no one ever follows through on these things anyway..)

2009 is fast approaching and it has been a long time since any information was posted to this site, but we have been following every news release quite extensively. Lots of thought has gone into design decisions for the site, but if you have anything you'd like to suggest as far as useful features please stop by the forums and make a suggestion. There will be enough bandwidth to post movies and share your war stories and strategies with everyone, so get those video capture programs ready for what we hope to be an early 2009 release. I personally have seen every RTS since the Warcraft 1 series hit and have to say Dawn of War has by far been the best experience of any to date. So far DoW2 looks even more promising than the original and we cannot wait to get our hands on it. We look forward to providing a central place for solid strategy building and the tools you need to do so. Stay tuned for more info.

Welcome to the Dawn of War 2 section of Sinful Gaming. The game is still quite a far ways away but a few games come along that look to be so promising that they deserve to be followed from beginning to end. Hopefully over the coming months and into 2009 we will be able to wrestle some information out of the developers to keep you following the cookie crumbs. The focus of the site will be to introduce the units to you as they become available and also be a good source for strategy and unit vs unit strengths and weaknesses. So much is still in the air since the game is far away but we will definitely bring you the goods when the time comes. Keep us bookmarked and check back in the future.
